  • Scout Tour (From Ethiopia to South Africa)

In the afternoon we left Lusaka. We found a lot of good photo opportunities in the Zambian capital, such as the strung shoes, you can see on our diary picture, or the strung sunglasses of last year world record run, which look like a giant cluster of beetles. The way to the border is surrounded by material and machines for the copper mines in northwestern Zambia. Just like in the other countries of East Africa we meet Chinese workers everywhere, who are improving the streets or building new ones. In the evening we reach the border to Zimbabwe and cross the great Zambezi River. The Touareg is fine, we are fine and it is only one country left to cross, before we reach South Africa.
