On Zambian roads
We drove through the night on the long and lonely national road T2 in northeastern Zambia. At a fuel station on the next morning we were astonished to see a Toyota minibus with 23 passengers and their luggage - you see such things often, but some just really are over the limit.
Shortly before Lusaka we stopped at a John Deere distributor, who sells tractors from my hometown Mannheim, also I tried some delicious goat meat, which is sold along the streets. It is quite usual here to eat goats, but it's quite different to our European steaks on a barbecue grill. In the evening we visited a new Volkswagen importer in Lusaka, before heading to our hotel for some well earned rest.
