  • Scout Tour (From Ethiopia to South Africa)

We were happy to recap in Addis Ababa once again, as we started our journey to Kenya the next day - a long and tiring stretch. We took chances of stopping here and there to see as much as possible of countryside and people. It is also a welcome intrusion to talk to the locals and to get some exercise like pingpong next to the long hours of driving. The route took us up to 2500m, where we passed the Yabelo Wildlife Reservate. As soon as we stopped the car, a lot of Ethiopian people came to see what we were doing. Marius is the one who spends most time outside the car and would often be surrounded by children who want to learn more about his cameras.

We slept in the Touareg again, near to the border to Kenya, wondering what the "Road of Hell" on the Kanyan side would hold for us this time.
